Recital Pictures; Picture week (May 17th-21st) Pictures will be held at
the studio. I have changed the picture times for some classes to help get
everyone here on time. Your picture time will be noted in your recital
handbook. We ask that you arrive dressed and ready to go so we can start
on time and keep the evening moving smoothly. If you want to dress at
the studio then you need to arrive early.

Credit/ Debit Card payment by phone;
Contact the studio during normal business hours and ask for Mr. Jill (Mike).
He will process this payment with you over the phone. (Have your card
ready when you call.)
Grandparents; Please have your dancer's name when you call.
Parent Information
Account Statements:
These are printed on the first day of each month. If you make a payment
on the 1st of the month it will not reflect on the current statement.
(example: October statements ran on October 1st only reflects what was
paid in September, but not on payments made in October, those
payments won’t reflect on your statement until the November statement).
Email Addresses:
Be sure that Miss Jill's School of Dance has
your current email address. Starting in
January we will be going "paperless" (as
much as we can), so class calendars will be
available here on our website, and "parent letters" and account
statements will be emailed directly to you. If you wish, you may add your
email address here, or on the bottom left of our HOME PAGE. As always,
hard copies will be posted in the studio lobby.
This is one way we are keeping dance affordable by cutting costs!
Spring Recital info:
Dress Rehearsal (Saturday, May 22nd) 9:45AM-4:00PM at Shelbyville High
School's Breck Auditorium. Students in grades 1-Adult will rehearse from
9:45AM-12:30 and then break for lunch until 1:00PM. Students in 3-Pre-K
classes will join the rehearsal at 1:15PM until 4:00PM. Dress Rehearsal is
mandatory!!! I know that several students are involved in athletics and
there are games/meets/matches scheduled during dress rehearsal and I
know those are important too, however; we need all students to be at the
full day's dress rehearsal. The following classes need to have everyone at
both blocking and full run through due to the difficulty of these routines:
Advanced Flag
Advanced Tap
Advanced Jazz
MS/HS 2 & Elementary 2 Ballet
Intermediate Tap
Recital (Sunday, May 23rd) at Shelbyville High School's Breck Auditorium at
2:00PM. Students must be in the cafeteria at 1:45PM to get settled in
before the show starts.
I will be handing out a recital handbook soon that has more detailed info
for you. Please take the time to read the information; it will make things
go more smoothly for you and for me if we are all on the same page. The
handbook will make recital a more enjoyable experience for you and your
student
Costumes: Costume order forms are due with a $10.00 deposit
(per costume) no later than Friday, January 29th. We can not order your
child a costume without a signed costume form, nor without the deposit.
Costumes will need to be paid in full by Friday, February 12th.
